Fixing extractions
When the auto-extract does not fit your brand, what to edit, and how the 14-day money-back guarantee works.
The auto-extract is fast, not perfect. About one in eight brands needs at least one significant edit before the DNA looks right. The product is built around that.
When to nudge a field versus re-extract
Single field wrong (a color, one voice sample): edit the field. Approve the DNA. Done. Re-running the extract will discard your edits.
Multiple fields wrong, or the brand uses a CMS theme that obscures the real palette: re-extract from a different page on the brand’s site. Product pages and a press kit page often show truer palettes than a heavily-art-directed homepage.
Brand has no public website (yet): create a manual DNA. Paste palette hex values, upload type files (or pick from the system list), and add three voice samples by hand. Manual DNA setup takes about 8 minutes and produces variations identical to extracted DNAs.
The 14-day money-back guarantee
Every subscription comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee – full refund of your initial charge if you cancel within 14 days, no questions asked. If Brand DNA extraction does not fit your brand inside that window, email hello@brandflux.ai with the workspace name and a one-paragraph note on what is off; we’ll engage within one business day to help fix it before you hit the deadline.
After the 14-day window, cancellation during a paid cycle refunds the credits you didn’t use that cycle, pro-rated against the last invoice.
Common gotchas
- Italic serifs that the live site uses sparingly often get missed. Add the family by hand and mark “headline emphasis only”.
- Brand colors named differently in the design system than on the live site. Rename them to match what the team calls them; downstream prompts will use those names.
